Tanya : SPCA Vet.

It was at Dr Hughes’ suggestion and with her guidance that we originally set up our veterinary clinic around ten years ago.   She used to work for us for a couple of hours in the afternoons.   Dr Hughes later moved to a mainly equine practice in the KZN Midlands.  She rejoined us on a full time basis at the beginning of 2011.   Since then our outreach work has increased dramatically with Dr Hughes’ surgical skills and our Operations Manager’s passion for the “underdog”.

We support ONLY the circuses that DO NOT use animals of any kind to entertain the crowds. The use of wild animals in Circus acts is inhumane
