Rob O’Donoghue


Professor Rob O’Donoghue is an educator and has spent his long career in various aspects of education: as a primary school teacher in the late 70’s and early 80’s, then moving to become the education liaison officer at Ezemvelo (then Natal sparks Board) for 20 years. During this period, he attained a Masters degree and a PhD in Education. His passion is working with educators in environmental sustainability education. He spent 15 years at Rhodes University as Professor of Environmental Education. He is married to Carmen who is a music and drama teacher, and they have three sons and 5 grandchildren
